A5037941 Janie is a perky 2-year-old white-and-latte female Pekingese / Shih Tzu mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on March 4th as a stray from El Monte. Weighing 14 lbs, Janie has one cloudy blue eye, but she seems to see well. She’s just too cute, with a winsome underbite and a classic Shih Tzu button nose. She’s had a haircut because she came in with a matted coat, but she’ll be a classic soft, fluffy Shih Tzu with proper grooming on a regular basis. Janie is a wonderful girl who does okay on leash, shows strong signs of house training, and is great with other dogs. Her cloudy eye makes her look older than she is, but at only 2, she’s a young dog who appears to be in great health. Janie is a happy, affectionate girl who will make a wonderful indoor pet for any family.

UHA is not a shelter, but supports shelters to help increase visibility of animals who might not otherwise be seen.
